What SANTE changed in the Azulene Soother Ampoule and Cream

SANTE has renewed two products at the centre of the line. A plain summary of what it says is new, and what we are still confirming.

In October 2026, SANTE announced renewed versions of the Azulene Soother Ampoule and the Azulene Soother Cream. This note sets out what SANTE says has changed, in everyday words, and says plainly what we have not yet confirmed for New Zealand.

In brief

Both products keep their place at the centre of the Azulene Soother line. SANTE describes the renewed formulas as having more azulene, a richer set of hydrating ingredients and a more comfortable feel on the skin.

What SANTE says is new

SANTE lists four changes for the Ampoule and Cream:

  • More azulene. The azulene content has been raised in both products. SANTE has shared figures, but we will wait until it confirms the wording we may use in New Zealand before stating them here.
  • Eight types of hyaluronic acid. SANTE says the blend helps skin feel hydrated and stay hydrated.
  • Neo-Spicule. A new ingredient in the Ampoule, which SANTE says is designed for a comfortable application.
  • Derma-Clera. A new ingredient SANTE names in the renewed formulas. We will describe it once SANTE confirms the wording we may use in New Zealand.

How they feel

SANTE describes the Ampoule as light and moisture-rich as it absorbs, and the Cream as rich and bouncy in texture. Used together, they can make a simple two-step finish to an evening routine: a few drops of ampoule first, then cream over the top.

Layering

SANTE’s skincare educator notes that the Cream suits layering: apply a generous amount, and add another thin layer if skin feels like it wants more moisture. As with anything new, try it on a small area first.

After a professional skin treatment

A common question is whether the Ampoule and Cream can be used after a professional skin treatment. SANTE’s skincare educator says the right time to restart depends on the treatment and on your skin. Follow your therapist’s advice. If your skin feels unsettled and does not ease, check in with your doctor or pharmacist.

What we are still confirming

The renewed formulas were announced in Korea. We are confirming with SANTE which version arrives first in New Zealand, and the product pages on this site will be updated to match once we know. If you have a question in the meantime, send it through the contact form.

Allergy note

Chamomile is in the daisy family, which also includes chrysanthemums, mugwort and ragweed. If you react to any of these, check with your doctor or pharmacist before using chamomile or azulene products.

Where to find it

See the Azulene Soother Ampoule and Azulene Soother Cream pages for sizes and ingredients, and the stockist list for where Dr.SANTE is sold in New Zealand. These pages describe the version currently listed, not the renewed formula.
