Dr.SANTE products are organised by line, and each line has its own colour and focus. SANTE put together a short summary of the lines, and we have added what we know from the product pages. This is for orientation only, and is not a diagnosis or a treatment plan.
In brief
- Azulene Soother (blue): soothing and hydration.
- Artemisia Aka (green): care for skin that tends to be oily or blemish-prone.
- Hyalquad Core (aqua): deep hydration and moisture care.
SANTE also makes other lines, which are not part of the New Zealand range at this stage.
Azulene Soother
This is the signature line, built on chamomile and azulene. SANTE positions it for skin that feels dry, hot or easily unsettled. It is the broadest line, running from cleansers and toners to ampoules, creams and masks. A good first choice if your skin feels sensitive and you want a gentle, hydrating routine. See the Azulene Soother Ampoule and Azulene Soother Cream pages.
Artemisia Aka
The line is built on Artemisia capillaris extract, from a plant long used in Korean skin care. SANTE designs it for skin that tends to be oily or blemish-prone, and the format is simple: a toner with pads, and a semi-gel mask. Artemisia is in the daisy family, so the allergy note below applies. See the Artemisia Aka Toner and Toner Pad Limited Edition page.
Hyalquad Core
The line is built around hyaluronic acid, for skin that feels dry and in need of moisture. SANTE’s own name for its focus is deep hydration and moisture care. If your main wish is a comfortable, well-hydrated feel, this is a clear place to start. See the Hyalquad Core Cream page.
Mixing lines
Many people use more than one line, for example Soother in the evening and Core in the morning. If you do, add one product at a time so it is clear what suits your skin, and patch test it on a small area first. A professional can help you build a routine around your skin.
If you are unsure
Start with the line that matches how your skin feels most days, not on its worst day. If a product stings, burns or causes a rash, stop using it and rinse your skin. If it does not ease, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Allergy note
Chamomile and artemisia are in the daisy family, which also includes chrysanthemums, mugwort and ragweed. If you are allergic to any of these, check with your doctor or pharmacist before using chamomile, azulene or artemisia products.
